After Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Praveen Kumar, now Sachin Tendulkar has fallen into injury. Like the first three players, this batting master is compelled to return his country from South Africa tour. The little batting master Sachin Tendulkar came to play the one-day match after nine months and made a new record.
After playing the second one-day against South Africa on Saturday, this batting icon has put his name in the world record, sharing with Sanath Jayasuriya as the most one-day international (ODI) playing cricketer (total 444 ODIs). Although India was defeated in the first one-day match of the current series against S. Africa, they got an excellent victory in the second one-day of 1 runs.
But in spite of all these things, the return of Sachin in the ODI could not make him happy. In Saturday, he fell into the knee-injury. Although he could play a short innings of 24 runs from 44 balls, he was unable to come into the field during fielding. In this injury, his South Africa tour has been ended unexpectedly. He has to return the country with three matches in hand. The wicket-keeper batsman, P. Patel has got a chance in the main team as an alternative of Sachin Tendulkar. The Indian Team is very much tensed in such an injury of Sachin. Their main tension is about the World Cup 2011, not the S. Africa tour. In the World Cup, India is mostly dependent on the best player of the current era, Sachin Tendulkar. Probably, this is the last World Cup for the batting master.
